Makenzie: Hi, I’m Mackenzie, and I am thirteen.

I like to...

I like to play football. And, uh, the second thing I like to do, I love animals and, I just love playing with any animal.

I like talking to my family or talking about how my day was or talking- just talking. Just to be talking.

Interest in Football?

I just heard about football, and I started practicing, and I watch football a lot. Not-not a lot but, like, when I can. And I don’t really watch the football players, I watch how they throw and how the-your post-your posture, and I just learned how to get better and better at it. It’s, like, you strive for a goal. It’s one of my goals.

Three Wishes?

My wish would be to go home with my grandmother, one. Two would be, hopefully, succeed in life and be a veterinarian or ASPCA animal rescuer. Three would be -- getting along with my mother right. Like, even though I can’t, like, have contact with her, like physical or, like-like, social, like I can’t, like, see her but I can talk to her on the phone. I want to-I want to get a better spot than we are now.

Describe a Perfect Family?

I think it would be my kids would probably, hopefully, listen to me.They would grow up off- I would be a mother because I didn’t want to treat my kids the way my mom treated me, so I would try and be better than what my mom treated me.

Definition of Family?

Family means to me, like, somebody that can- you can always, like- if, like, you like, for instance, if you fall off a bike somebody will be there to pick you up. It’s, like, if you need help somebody will be there for you. That’s just like a friend, but family means to me, like, they’ll be there even if they don’t like you.

Like, even if they’re, like- they seem like they don’t like you or they seem-they treat you really mean like a brother or a brother and a brother. They might treat you like, get away out of my room. They still love you.
