Ann: What I would tell anyone considering adopting a child with special needs is it is probably 
the hardest thing and most rewarding thing that will ever happen to you in your lifetime.  Some 
people hold back because they think “well, I can’t do that” but you can do that, there’s a lot of 
things we think we can’t do until we do them.
