AUSTIN - I BELONG PROJECT I have a name. My name's Austin, but I get called "Magic Man" a lot. Magic has been a big thing for me since I was around the age of four years old. Four years old was when I seen the first magician do an escape trick, and I was like, "Whoa. That's really cool, and I want to learn how to do this stuff." My definition is it's not really about knowing how to do the trick. It's about knowing how to communicate, how to compose your magic tricks, and it's good to have someone leave with an emotion or something that they've had. You know, never seen before. Once I get out of high school I will be going to Job Corp, and I like doing lots of arts, and magic is sort of an art too, but I will be going, learning how to cook because I burn water. I suck at cooking. You may not think it, but there is a college for magic, and it's called Studio City's House of Magic for magicians. It teaches you the best slight of hand one on one. You get taught from the slight of hand magicians, the best close up magic, and it's just something that I kind of want to do. It's something fun, and it keeps me pretty calm too. My perspective of a family would be that, you know, they're always there for you, but not only are they there for you, they understand you, and they know where you're coming from. You share some of the same experiences. Basically that's my definition. I'd consider that family. [NO AUDIO] Every child in a loving home... because every child deserves to belong.
