Oklahoma’s Kids Belong - Jake My name is Jake. I'm 17 years old. If my friends were telling somebody about me, I think they would use a few words. A couple of them would be big, a couple of them be small. They would for sure call me a character. I'm funny. I just love to have fun. I'm good in English and Social Studies. I write rap music, and a lot of it is I try to tell a story. When I'm angry, when I'm sad, things like that, or when I just feel like everything's failing, I'll just get on the pad and pen and I just let it out. I'm for sure going to go to probably Tulsa Tech or TCC and get a trade in auto mechanics, work on cars, and finish I'll get a Bachelor's and I might possibly become a DHS worker. Family is a little harder to describe because obviously nobody's perfect. A family I look for is they talk to each other on a regular basis. If they did have a problem, bring it in front of everybody and say how can we fix this. I have a personality that no matter what kind of bumps that I hit in life, what kind of bumps that I hit going down a road called life, that if I fall down I know that I have to get back up.
