Oracle – Submitting a Scheduled Process Hello, my name's Paul. In this tutorial, I'll show you how to submit a schedule process and then view the process output. I can get to the schedule process's work area from the navigator. [No Audio: User selects the main menu from the top left corner, then selects the Scheduled Processes link, then the Schedule New Process button.] Here, I can schedule the process I want to run. If I see the process in the list, I can select it. Otherwise, I must search and select it. This process is a report with perimeters. Perimeters filter the data the report shows. Any required perimeters are marked with an asterisk are must be filled out. For this process, I'll leave the default values. The advance view lets me see other available process details. [No Audio: The user toggles the Basic and Advanced button] For example, notice I can schedule this process to run now or on a reoccurring schedule basis. Since my process is a report, I can also configure the the output. I can add as many of the different file formats that it supports. Finally, I can conditionally notify user about the process run. If an administrator wants to know if the process errors out, I can set it up like this. I just need to know the user ID. [No Audio: The user selects the Create Notification icon and enters a User ID into the Recipient field, then checks the On Error box and clicks OK. The user clicks the Submit button, then the OK button, then the Close button.] Now I can submit the process. After the process has run successfully, I can select the row and see its details, including any output in the area below. Now I can click the PDF link, which lets me see, download or print my report. Thanks for watching.
