Oracle – Using Applications Help

Dee: Hi, my name is Dee. In this tutorial I'll show you how to find help.  To start, I'll go to a task 
that I need to do today. 

[No Audio: User selects the Data Import icon, then the help icon in the upper right corner, then 
the help button next to the page title, then choses a link with a question.]

I'd like help with this task, so I need to click this icon to show help on all pages. Now we can 
open the help for this page.

I think this has the info I'm looking for. Let's check it out. 

[No Audio: the user clicks the link, revealing an excerpt]

This looks good so I'll go ahead and read the whole thing. 

[No Audio: User clicks the More link, then the More Info link]

After I'm done we can click "more help" to see other related info.

We land in the application's help site where we see more help about the task I was working on. 
Let's browse for help elsewhere. 

[No Audio: User selects HCM from the menu at the top of the page.]

Here's some material that looks helpful for new users. [No Audio: the Getting Started tile is 
highlighted.]

 I can also take a look at help that's specific to my role. [No Audio: the Roles tile is highlighted]

If I'm looking for guides or other resources, I can use these links to jump over the Oracle Cloud 
site. [No Audio: the Learning Resources tile is highlighted]

Of course, I can also search, so from here we can search across all the help for HCM. 

[No Audio: the user types “time card” in the search bar and clicks search, then toggles the 
arrow next to Role, then checks the Employee checkbox, then clicks the Apply button]

I'll use the role filter to narrow down the results so I can only see what's relevant to me as an 
employee filling out my time card.

You know, what if I really want to see is only videos, I can filter on the help type.

At any point, we can get to the help home page using either the home icon, or "all", and search 
across all help.
