Tamara T.: Malik has been in and out of custody since about age 4 or 5. He’s an awesome kid, loves sports, loves to play sports. Does really good in school, loves school, many kids don’t but he loves school. I think he would benefit from a forever home because he’s ready for a dad, a mom and a dad, to go out and do things with him. I think it would be awesome for him. Malik P.: I would like to be adopted. So, the type of family I want is one with a mom and dad, one who would work with me and take good care of me. Tamara T.: I think it would bring him a lot of joy. He likes to go out and fish and go camping and hiking and I think they would benefit from having him in his family. He’s a really neat kid. Malik P.: A lot of help, I like to clean, I clean a lot of things. Like when they need help a lot I’ll help a lot in the house, around the house and stuff I’ll clean clean house out or whatever too, I just like to clean. But I do not like to mow the lawn, so that’s just, I can learn how to do that too, but… Tamara T.: I would say a mom and a dad. He was exposed to some domestic violence at his biological home, and I would really love for him to witness how a man is supposed to treat a woman, appropriate relationship. And I really think he would benefit from a mother figure, that would be very kind to him and see what appropriateness is between a child and parents. He hasn’t really had a stable home, even when he was at home it wasn’t really stable. And I think just for the guidance. He’s getting close to be eighteen so he’ll need someone there to explain to him why he should do these things or why he shouldn’t do those things. Malik P.: I want somebody to adopt me because I’ve been in DHS a long time. I’ve been going to like place to place and place to place. Tamara T.: He has really tried to improve his attitude and behaviors. And he told me that he wanted someone that would continue to work with him and not just give up on him the first thing he do that’s not appropriate. Wants someone that’ll teach him and still love him no matter what. Malik P.: I just want a good family to adopt me. They don’t have to but I just want one, cause I haven’t had one in a long time. Tamara T.: Just meet him and give him a chance. I think you will really, really, really be happy if you do. He’s a neat kid.
