AARON AND RYAN (MUSIC PLAYS) (NO AUDIO) Angela E. Child Welfare Specialist Angela E.: William Aaron is ten years old. He's been in DHS custody for about five years. Ryan is five years old and he's been in custody for almost five years. Aaron is a very special little boy. He is very, very smart. He's a geographical genius. He can tell you... point to any city, state, country that you name, he can almost instantly point to it on a map. He loves studying maps. He's a magnificent Lego builder. He loves his Legos. He could do Legos all day, every day. He does pretty well in school. He does very well in school I should say. He's just very smart. Ryan he's the little five-year-old. He is also very smart, very, very active, more so than Aaron. He also loves to build Legos. He loves to play with others whereas Aaron he can kind of play by himself and he's just fine. Ryan is a more of an interactive child and loves playing with others. And he's also doing well in school. He's had his challenges in school, but this year he's been doing very well. They are special because they just bring so much joy, you know? When I go visit the boys they just are... They light up my day. They are just cheerful to be around, just never a dull moment around them, just sweet as they can be. They're just magnificent little boys. I believe these boys would best fit in a family with a mother and father. Other kids would probably be good, maybe around their same age, five and ten. You know, they need a lot of one-on-one attention. I think they would be best suited with a mother and father figure. I feel the boys should be adopted together. They are very close. They do play together. They hang out together at home. I know that it would be devastating for them to be separated, and they want to stay together. It's very important that they are adopted so they can have a forever home. They deserve to have a mom and dad forever family that's going to look after them and help them to succeed in life. These boys, I think, would be bringing much joy and happiness to their family. They're always cheerful, always smiling, very inquisitive. They would just bring a lot of happiness and joy to a family. Thank you so much for considering these boys because they are very special little guys. They would bring you much happiness to your home.
