VICTORIA T. (MUSIC PLAYS) (NO AUDIO) Robbin M. Adoption Transisition Unit Specialist Robbin M.: Victoria is fun. She loves makeup and dresses and clothes and all the things that a 16-year-old girl would like. Victoria: I'm outgoing, fun, smart sometimes, sweet, I can be friendly, well I mean, I am friendly but yeah. Robbin M.: This morning before the modeling appointment, I went to pick her up and when I got there she her eyes got big and she said, "We're really going to do this, you know, basically." And I said, "Yeah, you know, we need to go." And so she - like any 16-year-old girl - rushed around, grabbed her stuff, her makeup, her clothes, and throwing everything in a bag, and she was so excited. And we got here and she has just loved doing this. She just enjoyed every bit of it, and she got into it. She loved it. It was so much fun watching her. Victoria: I was nervous at first because it's my first one. But it was exciting. It was fun. Robbin M.: Victoria's been through a lot. When I asked her what she wanted in a family or why she wanted to be adopted, and we had a long talk. And she said that she was tired of being lonely. And she just wants a family. She would bring so much to that family. She would bring life into a home. She would bring excitement. Yes, she is a teenager and yes she is a typical 16-year-old and what's more fun than that? Victoria: The reason it's important for me be adopted is because I want to be a part of a family and I just... I guess want a family that cares for me and is willing to do stuff and spend time with each other, just a loving family. Robbin M.: Victoria needs a forever family, you know, at 16 she needs somebody to help her see she has a future. To give her that hope that's there and to help her meet the goals that she has in life. She desperately wants to be somebody. And she needs somebody to help her to see she already is somebody special. She needs somebody that can be there for her future, for all the things she's going to face in life. And for her to be with them that they will face in life was well. She will be a great support for that family. Victoria: What I can bring to a family is a lot of excitement, fun, happiness, just all the way around good times, fun, because I'm very fun. The most important thing about life is family, friends, just being there for each other no matter what. The most important thing to me is my four sisters. They're the most important thing to me ever. Like I love them to death. And I love to keep in contact with them. Robbin M.: Victoria needs a family that's close, that wants to know who she really is. Victoria needs kids that like her that will want to be a brother or a sister to her. She wants a real family. Somebody that she can have for the rest of her life, that she can depend on. So a mom and a dad and if there's siblings, wonderful, if there's not, she'd be great as an only child. Victoria: The reason it's important for me to be adopted is cause I want to be a part of a family and I just... I guess want a family that cares for me and is willing to do stuff and spend time with each other, just a loving family. Robbin M.: And they need to know that she is full of life and she's fun and she needs somebody to love life with her and I hope that there's a family out there that just wants to help this young lady enjoy life with them.
